It is indeed capable of charging a laptop; with a quick test run out of the box the battery bank was capable of charging 30% of a 60 Wh battery (worth 18 Wh) for 60 % of its own capacity (worth 12 Wh).
So, there seems to be some margin of error / inefficiency in the battery bank.
The interface is showing the current power and voltage that is being supplied, which is nice; as well as how long the battery is still capable of charging the connected devices… very nice.
I am quite disappointed with the damaged box: as the packaging it was sent in was undamaged, I can only assume this was not caused during transport. Baseus should really be more careful, the packaging is quite nice, so the damage is quite a shame…
As material goes, the plastic used on the product (especially on the display) is prone to scratches, so use the provide bag to prevent scratching the plastic.
If you happen to find this on sale, I totally recommend buying it.

As soon as I buy a new power bank, I put it to the test. This one is awesome and very reasonably priced. Charges fully in 1 hour with USB-C and 65w or above charger (I used my Apple 87w charger). I charged my MacBook near 100% with USB-C. My phone is Samsung Note 10+. I was able to fully charge it only using 25% of the power bank, also USB-C.
