If you haven’t bought one of Tissot’s incredibly popular PRX watches yet because you’ve been waiting for the perfect reference to come along, I’d say your wait is officially over.

The Le Locle brand has released not one but three new variants of the PRX that finally give fans of the style what they’ve been waiting so patiently for: an automatic version of the Tiffany Blue-esque mint green colorway, and a waffle dial on a PRX chronograph. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

There’s Finally a Mint Green PRX Automatic — and It Gets Better

Tissot first launched the mint-green dial PRX back in 2022 at the height of the Patek Philippe Nautilus-induced Tiffany Blue madness that had the watch industry in a chokehold for the entirety of that year. The only problem was the watch only existed as a quartz model, meaning anyone hoping for an automatic with a mint-green waffle dial was out of luck.

At long last, we have an automatic PRX with a mint-green dial.Tissot

Now, nearly two years later, Tissot has rectified that by finally giving us a PRX Powermatic 80 with that Tiffany-esque minty dial. The hype around the color may have died down since 2022, but it remains a beautiful color and it looks stunning with the added texture of the waffle dial.

And the best part? Tissot is giving us both sizes of the mint-green Powermatic 80 at launch. Rather than going its usual route of doling out new colors one size at a time, the brand has launched the mint-green PRX Powermatic 80 in 40mm and 35mm simultaneously. Huzzah.

The Best Budget Royal Oak Chrono Alternative Just Got Better

In addition to the long-awaited mint-green automatic PRXes, Tissot also dropped a brand-new PRX Chronograph. Previous renditions of the watch — already one of the best affordable chronographs on the market — featured vertically brushed dials and contrasting subdials. The new version of the chrono features the same waffle dial of the PRX Powermatic 80 for the first time, along with color-matched subdials.

Available in a deep green to start, the waffle dial of the new PRX Chronograph makes the watch even more of a dead ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph in stainless steel — a watch that retails for nearly 20 times the price of the PRX Chrono.

The new PRX references further drive home the bargain proposition offered by the range, so if you’ve been holding out on buying one, I’d say now’s the time.
